Get started with Kollektivknappen

Before connecting

An administrator creates your account and enables access before Kollektivknappen is sent. You do not need to create an account or password.

If the screen says access is awaiting approval, paused, or revoked, contact Kollektivknappen.

Connect using Bluetooth

1. Enter your email address, choose Send sign-in link, and open the link on the same phone.
2. Accept the Terms, choose whether to share onboard status, and allow location when asked, including Always access. Allow Bluetooth or Nearby devices when your phone asks.
3. Hold the button for about 7 seconds until it flashes, then choose Pair button. Use the compatible button supplied to you.

After pairing

When setup is complete, Help from Kollektivknappen starts automatically and the app opens Home.

If the button is lost or damaged, choose Replace button in Settings and follow the guidance. The old pairing is removed automatically.

On a new phone or after reinstalling, request a new sign-in link and pair the button again. Bluetooth pairing does not transfer automatically. If another phone is active, choose Use the Kollektivknappen on this phone. The previous phone stops handling presses once the move is complete.

If it does not work

If pairing fails, choose Try again. If a move to a new phone fails, the previous phone continues to work.

If the button stops responding, turn on Bluetooth and keep the phone near the button. Use Try again or Open settings if shown. A temporary interruption does not remove the pairing.
